I feel that the book "Lucas" by Kevin Brooks was a good book. When I was reading it I never wanted to put it down. Furthermore, I would recommend this book to someone else. In addition, while I was reading this book the Guy Lucas who was in it looked nothing like the cover. He seemed to be a kind and caring guy. His Character was not as I though it would be. He had a different kind of character to him, which I never found out about. I feel that everybody should read this book if they have time. I feel that it could have more details towards the end. This magnificent collaboration of pages depicts the soldier's struggle of WWII. The great thing about Soldier Boys by Dean Hughes is the unbiased stand point. The author follows both American and German soldiers. Its main focus is on how children were sent into war to fight, neglecting their families worries just to be patriotic and proud of themselves. The author sends you through the harsh realities of war, and shows that the youth will still prevail. By: BC |
